Battlecry by Brandon green

Battlecry is the best thing that has happened to me in all of my life. When battlecry came to me in life God was there. I became closer to God using battlecry and going to youth group got me closer all the more to Him. I used to hate singing in church so I never did it. When I got battlecry it made me realize it doesn’t matter what people think of your voice, what you look like, how skinny you are and any other thing that it takes to be liked. Alls that matters is what God thinks.

            Before battlecry I was heading on the wrong path, the path to satin. I had many bad habits; I didn’t make the right friends. I thought I was happy but then I realized how empty and alone I felt without my love for God that I used to have. It used to be I had to be made go to church because I didn’t want to go, now its not like that, I love spending time with God. Now I do devotions every night.

            Many people think battlecry is fascist. They think Ron Luce is trying to brainwash teens into believing in a “false god”. I do not find that true, Ron Luce is an inspiration to me he helped me realize how dumb it is to want to be popular. It doesn’t matter to God how popular you are, alls that matters to him is that you believe in Him and trust and have faith in him.

            Thanks to battlecry I am repenting. I am pulling a complete u-turn. I am going the opposite way of sin. I still sin and are tempted; everyday. Whether it is to curse or do bad things or just simply make fun of somebody to make me feel “happy.”

            I love God with all of my heart. I want to be with him in that 1000 year kingdom. I want to be with him forever. I love him so much. For the people who don’t believe in God, do you think the world just appeared? Do you think there was a big bang and the earth was created? In science my teacher says that the earth is 6.5 billion years old.

            God created this world 6000 years ago and that is what I believe in. I believe that God is with us, he is wherever we are. He is everywhere; at the beach, at school, in the library. There is no hiding from God. He is everywhere! Like in the story where Jonah ran from God; God knew where he was an cast a great storm on the lake where his boat was sailing. The sailors got scared and asked what he had done. He told them he ran from God; they threw him overboard and he was eaten by a fish; as soon as he was in the water it was calm. This proves God is everywhere and is with you all the time.

            The bible is not just a book of fantasies, myths and fairytales; it is a book of guidance for all Christians. We read the bible to get closer to God and to learn about Him. I read every night so I can get close to God.

            We pray to get close to God, He is with us. He listens to every last one of our prayers. He always answers them. Sometimes not in the way we expect, so we think that God is not with us when it doesn’t turn out the way we want. I try to pray every night; I think about everybody. I pray for my generation every night. I know God is with me during that time. I feel his presence, like he is there with me.

            God loves everyone, no matter who they are. Murderers, homosexuals he loves each and every last one of us. The bible says “for god so loved the world, he gave his one and only son to die on the cross for us.

            I don’t know what you think, but that is love, that is complete whole love. Like I said before he loves everyone no matter whom they are. God doesn’t measure sin, mankind does. In God’s eyes murdering someone is the same as lying to say your parents. In God’s eyes we are all sinners. He especially loves those who are on the path to good.

            The rapture is coming soon, I know so the bible has predicted Russia and Iran being allies. The Iranian president already has asked his people what it would be like without the United States and without Israel. Ezekiel 38 predicts what the Iranian president said and the actions they are going to take. Believe me God is not going to stand back and let them destroy Israel. They are His people, He will protect them.  The bible has predicted things that have already happened. I believe the rapture will be in my lifetime. I could not even finish this paper; it could happen a minute from now or 50 years from now. But I believe it will be in my lifetime.

            You know the saying “live life by the moment,” that tells you to do all the wrong things that God doesn’t want you to do. What if in that moment the rapture occurs? What happens to you then, you will MAYBE live through the 7 years of torture. The likelihood is that you will die a non Christian. Over half the earth’s current population will be dead. Will you be among the non believers? Or among the believers?  I know I will be among the believers, I love God and God loves me.

            You shouldn’t be scared of God, he is your creator. He had your life planned out when he created the world. He knew what your profession will be, your wife’s name and how many kids you will have. What I am saying is that there is a God and he will be with you for the rest of your life. There is no denying there is a God, he performs miracles everyday.

            Don’t give your life to satin, let God influence your decisions. Believe in God, trust in him and most importantly have faith in him. Don’t wait for God to come to you, because it’s not going to happen. You have to go to him, confess to him, repent, change your ways. Let God be in you, let him guide you to be a better person. Look around you everything you can see was created by God. God did not mean for the world to last forever. So why waste time being with satin, go to God and you will be happy. For those who think they have no friends and no one loves them, that is not true. God loves you, no matter what you may think there is always someone who cares for you.

            God will make you happy, in all I have to say. I want to say this, God loves you and he will always be there for you. You can talk to him by praying, he always listens. God made me happy, I guarantee he will make you happy too.
